This policy explains what information Irrigation Calculators ("we", "us") collects when you use irrigationcalculators.com, how it's used, and the choices you have.
Information you enter in our calculators
Calculations happen on your own device, in your browser. The numbers you enter into a calculator are not sent to our servers or stored by us.
To make results shareable, a calculator may add your inputs to the page's web address. If you copy or share that link, anyone who opens it will see those values. When Google Analytics is active, the page address you visit, including any values in it, can be recorded as part of normal analytics data. Our calculators don't ask for names, addresses or other personal details.
The Copy, Download and Print buttons create your result on your own device; we don't receive a copy.
Information you send us
If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address and message. We use it only to read and reply to your message, and to fix any error you report. We don't add you to a mailing list or share your details with anyone else, except where required by law.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical information when pages are requested, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. This is used to operate, secure and troubleshoot the site.

Because our calculators don't collect personal details, the only personal information we normally hold is what you send us when you contact us. To make a request, use our contact page. How long we keep information
We keep messages you send us only as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of corrections. Analytics data is kept according to the retention period set in our Google Analytics account. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period for security and operation.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we'll delete it.
Security and links
The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the limited information we handle.
Our pages link to other websites, such as the sources we cite. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy doesn't cover them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when we add or change a service. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be reflected on this page before they take effect.
